ROARING TOM’S APARTMENT

Roaring Tom’s apartment pays homage to the seafaring adventures of Thomas Holyman. He was a large, forthright man, barrel-chested and full bearded, who fluently demonstrated his command of the loud language of a seafarer—he was known to everyone as ‘Roaring Tom’, and we invite you to share his tales.

Those looking to cocoon themselves away in superb style will enjoy the luxurious lounge space with custom stone fireplace and a crackling wood fire. With spacious open plan design, stunning polished floorboards and original artworks this space is something special.

This is true Tasmanian luxury, with a three metre kitchen island topped in Tasmanian timber, and stone bench tops encasing the light filled kitchen which has stunning views out to the bay. Enjoy cooking up a world class feast with full oven, large fridge and all pots, pans and crockery to make cooking a breeze. Dining is a delight with expansive open plan dining area with dining table for six and stunning lounge with wood fire.

Amongst all the expected staples the custom kitchen includes a coffee pod machine and fridge. All stays include a simple continental breakfast of fresh bread, Tasmanian jams & yoghurt, two-fruits, milk, juice, a selection of cereals, tea and coffee.

This space was once the bustling bar of the 1800s pub and the two-foot thick stone walls encase the apartment in warmth and character. Immerse yourself in the space inside or venture out to one of three patio areas, downstairs, looking onto the bay, in a private sheltered stone courtyard, or head upstairs to enjoy the upstairs patio looking out to stunning views of the Nut and the bay. Sunset seating options are plentiful and you will be spoilt for choice.

With two king bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, this apartment can easily accommodate two couples wishing to travel together or extended family groups. With impeccable attention to detail; think historical artefacts, original artwork, bespoke joinery and custom fittings, rich linens, sumptuous feather and down pillows, mattress toppers and hand stitched cushions. Two contemporary bathrooms with walk in showers have indulgent SALUS toiletries and thick fluffy towels.

A guest gym is provided for guests to enjoy during their stay and a guest laundry for added convenience.

(Due to the delicate nature of some of our styling, this apartment is not suitable for Children under 12).
