Terms and conditions
BOOKINGS
A booking confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed.
It is the responsibility of guests to review the booking confirmation email and advise the Ship Inn Stanley Team if there are any errors or misunderstandings.
Valid credit card details must be provided. By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise Ship Inn Stanley to charge the cost of their booking(s) to that credit card. The cost of the booking will be charged on the day of arrival.
CHILDREN
Ship Inn Stanley is an adults only haven and does not accommodate children – if travelling with children, we suggest our delightful family beach cottage a few doors along, Little Talisker .
BEVERAGE
Following an inventory check of booked suite(s) or apartment(s) after guest check out, Ship Inn Stanley reserve the right to charge any items not paid for by the guest at the time of check out to the guaranteed credit card for that suite. This includes other items that may from time to time be for sale in each suite.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a booking cancellation, guests are entitled to a penalty free cancellation unless one of the following applies:
- Where a booking is cancelled after 5pm within 14 days prior to the arrival date, the booking fee will be charged in full. Exemptions include impacts of COVID-19 border closures, other exemptions may be applied due to extenuating circumstances, this is at the discretion of the Ship Inn Stanley management.
- No refund will be granted in the event a guest does not arrive for their booking or cancels on the date of their booking; the credit card associated with that booking will be charged in full for the booking.
A cancellation confirmation email must be obtained. If a cancellation confirmation email is not received, the booking remains in effect.
SMOKING & DEEP CLEANING
This is a non-smoking property and is strictly smoke free. If a guest smokes in their suite or a communal area a $250 fee may be charged for additional deep cleaning. Likewise, if additional deep cleaning is required as a guest has damaged or left a room in a particularly dirty or messy state, an additional fee of up to $250 may be charged. Ship Inn Stanley reserves the right to seek legal recourse for any theft or damage.
LOST KEYS
If guests lose the Ship Inn Stanley keys there is a $250 charge for key replacement and locksmith fees.
